Whistleblowing Policy

Virtual Network Solutions Sdn Bhd (“VNS”) is committed to the highest standards of integrity, accountability and ethical conduct. This Whistleblowing Policy provides a safe and confidential channel for employees, business partners and stakeholders to raise genuine concerns about suspected wrongdoing within VNS.

1. Purpose

This policy exists to:

  • Encourage the reporting of illegal, unethical or improper conduct
  • Ensure all concerns are taken seriously and investigated appropriately
  • Protect individuals who raise concerns in good faith
  • Uphold VNS’s commitment to ethical business practices

2. Scope

This policy applies to all VNS employees, directors, contractors, suppliers, business partners and any third party with a business relationship with VNS.

3. What to Report

Concerns that may be reported under this policy include:

  • Fraud, theft or misappropriation of company assets
  • Bribery, corruption or violations of our Anti-Corruption Policy
  • Breaches of legal or regulatory requirements
  • Falsification of company records or financial statements
  • Conflicts of interest not properly disclosed
  • Harassment, discrimination or serious health and safety risks
  • Any other conduct that is illegal or seriously unethical

4. How to Report

Concerns may be raised through the following channels:

  • In writing — addressed to the Compliance Officer, Virtual Network Solutions Sdn Bhd

You may report anonymously. However, providing your identity (kept strictly confidential) helps us investigate more thoroughly. Anonymous reports will still be considered.

5. Confidentiality

All reports and the identity of the person making them will be treated with strict confidentiality to the extent permitted by law. Information will only be disclosed on a need-to-know basis to those conducting the investigation.

6. Protection from Retaliation

VNS strictly prohibits any form of retaliation, harassment, demotion, dismissal or adverse action against any person who raises a concern in good faith under this policy. Any employee found to have retaliated against a whistleblower will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

7. False or Malicious Allegations

While we encourage genuine concerns to be raised, this policy is not a channel for making false or malicious allegations. Individuals found to have knowingly made false allegations may be subject to disciplinary or legal action.
