Agreement on Responsible Business Conduct

Virtual Network Solutions Sdn Bhd (“VNS”) is committed to conducting business responsibly, ethically and sustainably. This Agreement on Responsible Business Conduct sets out the standards that VNS and its business partners are expected to uphold in all dealings with VNS.

1. Our Commitment

VNS is committed to:

  • Conducting all business with integrity, honesty and transparency
  • Treating all people with dignity and respect
  • Operating in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Continuously improving our social and environmental performance

2. Business Integrity

VNS and its business partners must:

  • Maintain accurate and transparent business records
  • Avoid any conflict of interest and disclose any potential conflicts promptly
  • Not engage in any form of anti-competitive behaviour, price-fixing or market manipulation
  • Protect confidential information of customers, partners and VNS
  • Respect all intellectual property rights

3. Human Rights and Labour Standards

VNS is committed to upholding fundamental human rights and labour standards, including:

  • Prohibition of forced, compulsory or child labour in any form
  • Fair wages, working hours and conditions in compliance with Malaysian Employment Act 1955
  • Zero tolerance for discrimination based on race, gender, religion, age, disability or any other protected characteristic
  • Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining
  • Safe and healthy working conditions for all employees

4. Environmental Responsibility

VNS is committed to minimising our environmental impact by:

  • Complying with all applicable environmental laws and regulations in Malaysia and the countries where we operate
  • Reducing energy consumption and waste in our operations
  • Promoting responsible disposal of electronic equipment
  • Encouraging suppliers to adopt sustainable practices

5. Supply Chain Standards

VNS expects all suppliers and business partners to uphold standards equivalent to those in this Agreement. By engaging with VNS, suppliers agree to:

  • Conduct due diligence on their own supply chains
  • Cooperate with VNS audits and assessments where requested
  • Report any material violations of this Agreement promptly

6. Community and Social Responsibility

VNS is committed to contributing positively to the communities in which we operate, including:

  • Supporting the development of local ICT talent and skills
  • Promoting digital inclusion and responsible use of technology

7. Reporting Concerns

Any concerns about VNS’s conduct or that of its business partners under this Agreement may be raised through our Whistleblowing channel at whistleblow@vns.com.my.
